Manual Install
- Start Windows XP / 2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
- The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANATH.
- Click the Start button, then click Run...
- Specify the SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
- Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANATH\SETUP.EXE
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Reboot the system to complete the installation.
Unattended Install
Note: This procedure is intended for system administrators only.
- Start Windows XP / 2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
- Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.

- Click the Start button, then click Run...
- Specify SETUP.EXE -S with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.

- Reboot the system to complete the installation.
Manual Uninstallation
- Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
- [Windows XP]
- Click Start, then click Control Panel.
- [Windows 2000]
- Click Start, select Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click ThinkPad Wireless LAN Adapters Software (11a/b/g/n).
- Click Change/Remove and follow the instructions on the screen.
- Restart the computer.
Determining which version is installed
- Start Windows XP, 2000.
- [Windows XP]
- Click Start, then click Control Panel. Click Add or Remove Programs.
- [Windows 2000]
- Click Start, click Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
- Click ThinkPad Wireless LAN Adapters Software (11a/b/g/n).
- Click Click here for support information. The version number will be displayed.
